This policy explains how Executive Business Advisors ("EBA," "we") handles information when you use the Dissertation & IRB Evaluator.
Information we collect
- Account: your email address, your first name, and your sign-in method.
- Subscription: your plan and billing status. Card details are handled by Stripe, and we never see or store them.
- Coach: your coach conversation history, so the coach can remember you.
- Usage: counts of coach minutes and AI requests, used to apply fair-use limits.
Your documents
Documents you upload or paste are evaluated in your browser and are not stored on our servers. When you use "Fix with AI," "Explain this finding," or the coach, the relevant passages and results are sent to the service providing that feature.
Services we use
- Stripe: payments and billing
- An AI model provider: AI revisions
- ElevenLabs: the voice coach
- Crossref and OpenAlex: reference lookups (only citation details are sent)
- Our hosting and database provider: running the Service and storing your account
How we use information
We use it to provide and secure the Service, manage subscriptions, remember your coach history, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and local storage
We use essential browser storage to keep you signed in and remember choices, such as the plan you selected. We do not use advertising cookies.
Retention and deletion
We keep account data while your account is active. To access, correct, or delete your data, email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
Security
We protect data with access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure.
Children
The Service is for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.
